"4. Watching the sheer carnage as people try to charge the doors, in front of those persons who had been waiting for hours in line. That’s just darn good entertainment. Oh the humanity!"
"Darn good entertainment." Yes, once again unarguable. But I have to wonder why people wait for hours in line. Do they realize that if they worked for the hours that they stood in line that would have made enough money to purchase all there items at full price? Oh, the humanity!

Matthew 5:38-48, NASB
"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone want to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you. You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only you brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Fair question, waiting in line vs. working during that time to make the money necessary to pay full price…
Two thoughts: First, only suckers pay full price. Second, I spent about an hour and forty-five minutes in line. I considered working that time, but ran into the following road blocks. (1). I’m a salary employee, so I can’t work additional hours at my current job. (2). A minimum wage job would not produce enough money to compensate for the $90 dollars I saved on the item I purchased. (3). I also thought about shoveling snow, but there wasn’t any snow on the ground. (4). I then considered going to a few people’s homes and doing some yard work. I didn’t do this because, I feared that going door-to-door offering to do yard work at 5am might get me shot and may still leave me short of the necessary funds. (5). I looked into Amway (been waiting a while to get an Amway reference in) and a few other pyramid schemes, but most of those required a lifetime commitment and the alienation of all my friends and family. So, I just decided to stand in line, save some cash, and enjoy the experience.
Lee, do you snake drains? call me if you do.
