Apparently, I have been reading too much. I had to get glasses for reading, writing, and blogging due to a slight stigma, farsightedness, and ocular fatigue. It is relieving to have greater clarity when I read. At times I think that I would like greater clarity of thought, perspicuity in communication, and lucidity of vision but am trying to embrace the fatigue that accompanies the beauty of the unknown and unseen mystery of the kingdom of God.

Matthew 5:38-48, NASB
"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone want to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you. You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only you brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

been there...I got them like 8 years ago, but they didn't last long...either my sight wasn't that bad, or I've eased up...not in books all day long...just on the computer, haaaa, which isn't great.
Did you get those from the emergent apparel store? You should get a few button up shirts with vertical stripes and get it over with! :-)
john,
sorry to disappoint you. i only have one button up shirt with vertical stripes and a friend has it right now which i suppose makes me emergent because i'm sharing with my friends! my glasses came from dr. york who bought them off some designer named ted baker from london. i figured that england was cooler than the emergent apparel store.
changed the domain of my site, I think you found it.

Travis,
Just curious to hear how you justify purchasing frames from a designer like Ted Baker when your anti-consumerism mantra would seemingly be against such purchases as there are many less expensive options available.
I'm sure you can find glasses that will make your thoughts clearer somewhere... When you do, let me know.
Hmmmm... maybe there's a market there I can profit from :D :-/ Ahhh... so, I'll give you a pair of these thinkglasses for 7.50 (25% off because your a friend). Just don't ask me where I buy them (goodwill).
Peace brother. I appreciate your thoughts. I've been thinking through quite a bit of different things and if I ever get the time (and nerve) to wrangle them into written words, maybe I'll post to this blogger thing. Fyi, tocomehome.blogspot.com.
Peace out.
